If these remittances are being stopped sending by the overseas Pakistanis, it will have an adverse effect on Pakistan’s economy.

Moreover, they contribute through investments as they serve as a bridge between Pakistan and other countries which opens the door for economic collaborations and partnerships. They also contribute through knowledge transfer, new ideas, expertise and skills in various fields like research, technology, art, etc..

There are several overseas Pakistanis who have made a difference in their respective fields and have put Pakistan on the global platform. Some people like Malala  Yousuf  Zia and Dr. Abdussalam, are both the winners of the Nobel prize contributed differently, one in the field of physics and another on the importance of education and women’s right, both leaving an impact globally.

Furthermore, overseas Pakistanis take part in international conferences and delegations through which they can clear the misconceptions and stereotypes about Pakistan and can portrays the positive diverse image of the country brings a lot to the country to the world. They also take part in the charitable activities and support the social causes.
