How to get band 8.5 in IELTS Writing
Our IELTS highest band achiever Farhan says...
"After many repeated attempts at the IELTS test and getting nowhere beyond a 6.5 writing score, I was referred to Seema's IELTS Academy. I was taught the full writing course by Miss. Seema herself guided me through the required format and the marking criteria. The course was very detailed and comprehensive and touched upon all the needed essentials. There is no end to what you can learn for an IELTS exam, but IELTS preparation at Seema’s IELTS Academy is just concise enough to get you prepared as quickly as possible for the score you aim for. Also, Miss. Seema’s teaching style and dedication kept me engaged and focused. I passed the IELTS exam with an 8.5 writing score.
I would also like to recommend IDP Pakistan for its professionalism. The staff was friendly and courteous and often stepped forward to ask me if I needed assistance. The testing facility was well maintained.
Overall, the entire assessment process was a great experience. I highly recommend choosing IDP for the IELTS exam."

Writing Task 1 ( general module): Band 8.5
Dear Mr, Smith,
I am writing to you to express my inability to continue working as a swimming instructor in our local community center in light of a more lucrative work opportunity.
As you know, I have worked voluntarily at this position for the past year and have taught people of various ages and genders how to swim. I have also conducted numerous swimming competitions in this center to keep people motivated and actively participating.
In recent days, I have come across a new opening at a local university for a swimming instructor. I applied to the advertisement based on my experience here and have been offered the position after various stages of selection. This is a paid position and is also complemented with benefits and free housing. It is a good skip to further my career, too.
Finally, to make sure the swimming classes here are not disrupted, I can recommend an acquaintance of mine. His name is John Brown. Not only is he more experienced, but he also has a certificate of merit from a naval inspector. I have attached his details here with this letter.
I thank you for your help and support during the time that I have worked here.
Yours sincerely,
Farhan

Writing Task 2: Band 8.5
It is common, nowadays, to see people dressed as per the
latest trends in fashion instead of restricting their attire to a
single repetitive style. Here, I will list down some reasons for this
as well as share my opinions on the topic.
Firstly, adhering to the most recent fashions is done to symbolized status, and portrays inclusion to a higher class in society. Obviously, being fashionable requires one to spend money on clothes, some people may go as far as to purchase high-end brands, even though they may not earn comparatively well, in their minds, they gain greater acceptance to more prestigious social circles by doing so. Needless to say, they may be putting themselves at a disadvantage by keeping an unsustainable lifestyle.
In addition, some people adopt newer fashions as a means of personal expression. Unlike the earlier group mentioned, they have self-confidence and wish to express their identity as separate from other people. For example, it is common in western countries to see people in Gothic and unusually stark clothes such people are members of a well-known subculture and like to portray their thinking through their clothing style often in the face of ridicule. Indeed, fashion can also be a channel to express a personal style.
It is difficult to form a completely positive or negative opinion on the pursuance of the latest fashion trends. I am of the view that it is a negative habit if done either as a substitute for lack of self-confidence to gain acceptance or as an unhealthy consumerist addiction. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with being artistically expressive.
TIPS
* when you want to repeat the core word from the prompt, try to collocate it instead of using it as it is. e.g. fashion (newer fashion)

* avoid spelling mistakes
* use a single spelling style ( British or American) don't use a mix
* use collocation

adjective + compound noun = unhealthy consumerist addiction
adverb + adjective = artistically expensive
adverb + verb
adverb + adverb
adverb + preposition
adverb + adverb clause marker
adverb + past participle
adverb + present participle
all the green highlighted vocabulary is collocation

* sufficiently make paragraphs
